Tackle giant Preston Innovations are proud to announce that England International and two-time Parkdean Masters Champion, Des Shipp, will be joining the company as a full time angling consultant.

Des will now be able to concentrate fully on his fishing, along with testing a whole host of exciting new products to ensure that every angler buying a Preston Innovations product can be confident that it’s been tested at the highest level of angling.

“This was a big move but I’m really looking forward to the future. This gives me chance to be completely focused on my fishing and help create and improve products along the way.” smiles Des. “I’m in a really lucky position, not many people can say they get to go fishing every day.”

With the World and European Championships fast approaching, this move will allow the Bristol ace to fish at the best of his abilities.
"I'm looking forward to the International calendar and feel revitalised going into those events," he adds. "I've enjoyed a good working life, but this opportunity is incredible. In other terms, I’m now full time for the Manchester City of the fishing world; there isn’t a better company to be with."

The exciting news comes after a hugely impressive year for growth for Preston Innovations through 2011/12 both in the UK and Europe. The company's Managing Director, Sarah Phoenix, is delighted Des is becoming more involved: “Des is one of the best match anglers in the country; his reputation in the angling world is envied by many.
