The First round of the coveted UK Angling Championships has been a huge success. The competition, sponsored by Preston Innovations has gone from strength to strength over the past three years, with the event now getting coverage from Sky Sports!

Presenter, Rob Hughes comments “We have added an extra slant by bringing in UKAC Extra, a short report on the event that will be shown within a week of each match taking place. Full highlights will be shown on Sky Sports after round 4.”

There were a huge amount of 100lb+ weights during the first round with one of them coming from three times previous UK Angling Champ and Preston Innovations backed Tommy Pickering.
