Preston Innovations

The 12’6 version allows you to fish at 60 yards plus, for the same species, but it has more power downstairs in the butt to mid-sections, ideal for putting the feeder where you want it every time. Both have non-lock actions that enable you to play carp effectively, and quickly, in a match environment.

There is also the 11-13’ combo Sentient for long-range fishing or short-range – two rods in one. I could go on … but the big difference between Preston Innovations rods and most alternative makes is that the Sentients and the rest of the family are built from the tip back to the butt. And that means no flatspots, perfect non-lock-up parabolic actions and progressive power allied to super sensitivity and shock absorbency. In short, all you ever wanted in a tip rod. They set the standard and the 11’ and 12’ Super Sentients just add to the quality of the range. Higher grade carbon, finer, more sensitive all-carbon tips, brilliant casting and playing actions.

In fact, all the way through to the long range Dutch Masters, the right action, casting and playing attributes are on tap. That is all down to expert design and input. It is down to careful, precise design and use of the right carbons, the correct guides and good tip construction. And it all means that if you have a Preston Innovations tip rod in your hands, whether on a river or stillwater, you need fear no situation.
